My Story

Hi! I’m Jillian.

I spent over a decade as an internal HR Business Partner, sitting at the table with executives of global tech firms as they navigated the exhilarating (and often exhausting) journey of scaling. I’ve seen firsthand that the biggest challenge for a scaling SaaS isn't just the product, it’s the people.

At BlossomHR, I believe in communication, transparency, and clarity. My approach is built on the philosophy that when you provide sincere connection, thoughtful infrastructure, and a human-first experience, both the individual and the company can truly blossom. I’ve been where you are, in the high-growth, high-stakes world of VC-backed tech SaaS.

I acknowledge that I am reflecting on the land and waters of Ottawa, Ontario, which is on the traditional and unceded territory of the Omàmìwininìwag (Algonquin), and within the broader homelands of the Wendake-Nionwentsïo, Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga (Haudenosaunee), and Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ peoples.

My commitment to living and working here is deepened by my plan to act with care by: buying local, planting native species, cleaning the local creek, and creating habitats. These are not just tasks, but acts of relationship. They are my way of honouring the deep history of stewardship by the Indigenous peoples of this place and contributing to its well-being for all beings, now and in the future.
